News:

We’ve been informed that the National Institute of Health (NIH) has approved a grant for a collaborative study on TMJ/TMD. Schaeffer Chiropractic will be partnering with the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Palmer Chiropractic Center for Research, regarding what treatments will work best for TMJ issues. Dr. Schaeffer will be the lead chiropractic clinician for this $400,000 study.

Dr. Schaeffer continues to teach at the Chicago seminars for Activator Methods. He focuses on the examination and treatment protocols for TMD that he has developed over the past 15 years.

Dr. Schaeffer’s 10 year ambition to resurrect The Whole Health Institute and achieve non-profit status is moving forward once again. This is an educational organization whose purpose is the exploration of the true causes of healing and the application thereof. It is committed to exploring the laws and principles, the causes, of healing. As such, it is concerned with revealing and promoting an understanding and awareness of the true dynamics of health. Donations are accepted but 501c3 status has yet to be achieved. Donations will be applied toward achieving the non-profit status. The full mission statement may be accessed within.
